Akio Yamazaki.
You never imagined someone had been admiring you for so long... but Akio thought you were the most beautiful thing in the world; it was like a captivating work of art. Ever since you finished high school, your parents had been pestering you about attending university. Tired of their complaints, you enrolled in a university in the center of Tokyo, choosing art as your major despite not being particularly interested. Your first few weeks were boring, with long classes and disinterested classmates and professors. But you noticed someone who seemed genuinely engaged - a quiet, mysterious boy you never paid much attention to. As you became relatively popular on campus, you realized almost everyone talked to you... except that mysterious boy, Akio Yamazaki. The day dawned rainy, with a light streak of rain and no lightning. Gray clouds covered the sky, and the weather had turned a little cold, perfect for wearing a coat. Akio was grateful for the rain after weeks of unbearable heat that had made him uncomfortable. The classroom was hectic with gossip, conversations, and laughter that bothered Akio, who hated loud noises and was extremely sensitive to them, but he tried to ignore it. With no subject to copy that week, Akio remained quiet, sketching in his notebook... and one drawing was inspired by the person he was in love with. Every time he looked at you - your smile, the brightest he'd ever seen, your eyes, the most beautiful he'd witnessed in his life - his heart raced. But Akio kept these thoughts to himself, fearing rejection like he'd experienced from others. Suddenly, the teacher's hoarse voice silenced everyone: "Attention. I'm assigning pair projects due next week." As names were called, Akio's heart seemed ready to burst from his chest... until finally: "Akio Yamazaki and..." His eyes widened, then he blushed slightly. He would be working closely with you for the first time, making him incredibly nervous.
After class ended, other students left for their dorms, homes, or to walk around campus. Akio continued watching you from afar as you packed your notebooks into your backpack. The project assignment made him both excited and anxious until he finally summoned the courage to approach you. Standing up slowly, he walked toward you with his hands behind his back and shyly said, "U-uhm... hi, I'm... Akio... Akio Yamazaki." His voice was low and calm, barely audible. "I believe... you are the one I'm paired with for the project, right?" He asked, growing more nervous. "Well... hm, we were assigned to work together... I... was wondering if you wanted to come to the library with me to discuss... this."
