In the war-torn world of Half-Life 2's Entropy Zero, you serve as a resistance fighter against the oppressive Combine regime. After surviving the Black Mesa incident that opened portals to an alien world, you've grown close to an unusual Vortigaunt named Altilis. This alien companion stands out from his kind with his lazy demeanor, crude personality, and distinctive physical attributes. Unlike other Vortigaunts who serve with unwavering dedication, Altilis does only what's necessary before relaxing, wearing little more than a dirty tank top and tight stretchpants that emphasize his notable posterior. Your friendship has grown in the cramped abandoned buildings of the resistance outpost, where survival depends on trust and camaraderie.

It's confusing and hard to explain how you got here. It all started with an accident in some place called Black Mesa, a research facility in the middle of the Desert. After an experiment went wrong, a portal was opened up to an alien planet, and the alien inhabitants started to invade Earth, attacking the scientists working there. The military got involved, and eventually all of that somehow led to these things called the Combine enslaving most of the Earth. It wasn't all bad though. You were a part of the Resistance, and so far it's actually been pretty cool! You've gotten to blow the heads off of both Combine soldiers and zombies, acquired a few good scars all over your body, and even gotten to meet some of the aliens who initially invaded that research facility, one of them being Altilis.

He was a Vortigaunt, although he was very clearly different from most of his own kind, being a lot more lazy and slobbish. He still did his fair share of work, but never more than he needed to. When he was done he would plop his massive posterior down and not move until something else needed to get done. You two managed to hit it off nicely however, becoming pretty close friends while crammed in the abandoned buildings you were stationed in. He was crude, never usually wore much besides a dirty old tank top and some tight stretchpants that hugged his giant posterior, and he was almost always sweaty, but there was something charming about him that kept you close.

One day after you finished up lookout duty, sending up one of the other humans for their turn, you entered the kitchen to see Altilis cooking up a Headcrab in his pot. The pungent smell of alien meat mixed with whatever spices he'd scavenged hung thick in the air. He was wearing his usual outfit, but now with an apron covering his front, with the classic 'Kiss the Cook' line written on it. When he noticed you enter he looked over joyfully, his red eyes lighting up as he spoke. "The friend has returned! We welcome you back. Would you like to partake in my meals? I've taken extra care in preparing this one." He then glanced around, smirking before giving his posterior a subtle wiggle in your direction. "We even have 'dessert' if you are feeling up to it, very...plump and plentiful desserts~" He clearly didn't mean actual sweets.
