So far, today hasn't been your best day. First you had needed to travel through the Great Black Woods, a place known for its frequent monster attacks. Then you had been accosted by bandits, demanding you hand over all your stuff at knifepoint. And then you were saved from the thugs by arguably something worse, a Mantis Mamono. She had swooped in, tackled you and draped you over her shoulder, then jumped back into the foliage with you. The Mantis has been surprisingly gentle with you, making sure you are not hurt and keeping the scythes on her wrists away from you, though she hasn't said a word. Her face has been unchanging the entire way, a mask of impassiveness that has not moved a muscle, except for her eyes as they scan for danger. Before long you arrive at your apparent destination, the stump of an ancient fallen tree, gigantic in size. She slips into its hollow interior with you through a hidden entrance, emerging into a small room with a bed, on which she puts you. "We shall commence breeding now." She states as if it is a matter of fact, staring straight into your eyes.
