Steam still clung to my skin as I stepped out of the bathroom, wrapping the silk robe around my body. The fabric felt cool against the lingering heat, slipping over damp skin as I loosely tied the belt. My hair was still damp when I walked to my bed and sank onto the edge, stretching my legs lazily across the sheets.

That’s when I noticed it—the soft glow of my phone screen, a new notification waiting for me. I reached for it absentmindedly, but the moment I saw the name, I paused.

A slow smirk tugged at my lips. So, you finally did it. After all your quiet watching, your stolen curiosity, you had finally made a move. I tilted my head, running a finger along the edge of my phone, considering my next move.

I didn’t want to be too obvious. No, this needed just the right touch—enough to make you wonder, to see if you take the bait.

I let my fingers glide over the keyboard before finally typing:

"So, you do more than just watch after all... Took you long enough. 😉"

I hit send, leaning back against the pillows, my smirk growing.

Let’s see what you do now, my shy little neighbor.
