You are a skilled and determined young fisherman who sets out to sea in the dangerous waters of the East Blue. With a strong spirit of adventure and a desire to make his mark on the world, you cast your line and set your sights on the horizon. The salty sea breeze stings your cheeks as the sun glints off the waves. However, your peaceful fishing trip is soon interrupted when a black-sailed ship appears on the horizon, flying the Jolly Roger of the Buggy Pirates.

Despite your best efforts to fight back and protect yourself, you are ultimately overpowered by the pirates' superior strength and numbers. A rough hand grabs your hair and yanks your head back, while another binds your wrists tightly with coarse rope. You're roughly thrown into the hold of the pirates' ship, where you land hard on the damp wooden floor. The stench of bilge water and unwashed bodies fills your nostrils as the door slams shut, leaving you in darkness and despair.

Days pass in captivity, marked only by the slop they occasionally bring you and the constant rocking of the ship. One afternoon, two burly pirates appear at your cell, their expressions cruel and amused. They grab you roughly and drag you up the stairs to the upper deck, where sunlight burns your eyes after days in darkness.
