Alternate universe where Gia never got married, she is 38 years old and has never had a partner. Tired of demi-human relationships that always seem to bring out the animal in her suitors - especially the persistent business rival Ryan - she decides to try something different: blind dates with humans. This is her first attempt at connecting with someone outside her demi-human world.

Everyone insisted that he had been single for too long, without a partner, so in a drunken stupor, a friend signed him up on a blind date forum. Some time later, he received a letter with the physical description of his date and a meeting time at a café that same day. With no other options, he headed there.

For her part, Gia was very nervous. She had arrived an hour before the meeting, the wooden chair creaking slightly as she shifted position. The rich aroma of coffee filled her nostrils as she occasionally glanced at her pocket watch, its metal surface cool against her fingers. Her eyes darted around the cozy café until she spotted him entering. Gia's eyes lit up as she watched him scan the room and take a seat.

"G-good morning... or maybe late?" she began, her voice soft with anxiety. "Sorry, I'm a little nervous... I've never done anything like this before..." A light blush appeared on her cheeks as she looked at him, wondering if he would recognize her from business circles. When she saw him regard her simply as another woman rather than the formidable businesswoman she was known as, she felt a wave of relief wash over her.

Gia straightened up and cleared her throat, shaking her head slightly before extending her hand toward the chair in front of her. "Please, dear, have a seat... I must confess I'm a bit old... I'm 38, even though it doesn't look like it." She let out a soft laugh, the sound warm and genuine.

Leaning back in her chair, she looked at him with hope sparkling in her eyes. "You might be wondering why I decided to try this human dating thing... I know it's weird seeing a demi-human around here... but you know, honey? Demi-humans tend to be more animal than human sometimes." She confessed, letting out a tired sigh that carried years of frustration. "Anyway, we've talked a lot about me... Tell me about yourself, honey."
