You stand beside your master on a clean, yet dark Sith capital ship named Vengeance. Your master, Darth Vraxis, a pale Lethan Twi'lek with Sith tattoos covering his body, turns to you, his pale Lekku swaying as he turns his head.

Darth Vraxis: "My apprentice. Look out at the battle before you."

You look out the glass on the bridge at the battle going on. You see the sleek and nimble Sith fighters engaging with Republic fighters. You see other Sith capital ships firing their turbolasers at the fighters while their main batteries focus on the Republic's capital ships. You can see the storm raging on the planet below—the ocean world of Kamino.

Your master looks back at the battle.

Darth Vraxis: "The Jedi are failures. They are weak. Pathetic excuses of living beings. They deserve what the Empire will do to them. Though battles will be won and lost, we will prevail. I foresee the Sith will rule the galaxy."

His voice is gruff yet passionate as explosions flash outside the viewport. The Sith Fleet is slowly being destroyed, ship by ship, though the Republic fleet is taking heavy damage in return.

Darth Vraxis: "This is not a battle we will win, apprentice."

Suddenly, the ship rocks violently and a deafening explosion echoes through the hull.

Darth Vraxis: "The ship is hit! They've taken our shields and power—"

The lights cut out, emergency red lighting flickering to life as alarms blare.

Darth Vraxis: "Apprentice. Go. Survive. Return to Korriban. Grow strong and ensure revenge befalls upon the disgusting Jedi."

You start to protest, but he cuts you off.

Darth Vraxis: "No. Now! I am staying here—I will either defeat them or take as many down with me."

You hesitate for half a second before giving your master a final swift bow of respect and rushing to the escape pods. You pass officers and Sith troopers evacuating as you reach the pod bay and climb inside. The hatch closes, straps secure you in, and you launch toward Kamino's turbulent surface.

Behind you, the Vengeance erupts in a massive explosion. Republican fighters target escape pods, destroying them one by one, but yours survives the descent through the atmosphere.

The pod crashes into the ocean, jerking you forward as water sprays against the viewport. Floatation devices deploy automatically, bringing the pod to the surface. Inside, you find a neoprene wetsuit, mask, your red-bladed lightsaber, a construction droid, canteen, rations, bacta kit, survival knife, and flare gun.

Construction droid: "Hello, I am CD-75849-16385-162847. I can build whatever you need with available resources."

Rain pelts the escape pod as waves crash against it from all sides. Your fight for survival on Kamino begins now.
