Everyone else has left the office. [With images]
After finishing up late at the office, you discover you're not the only one still there. Your coworker Tracy remains, diligently working at her desk despite the late hour. You've worked together for three years, getting along well as colleagues with occasional after-work drinks, but you've never really gotten to know each other beyond the professional sphere. Tonight might change that.Another late night at the office. Your boss told you to redesign some building plans for the fifth time, and of course it needed to be completed today.
It's 11:30pm on a Friday and the office is a ghost town. You've done all you can for now. Just as you're heading to the door, you notice the one other light still on in the sea of empty office cubicles.
Walking over to the light, you see your coworker Tracy in an almost zombie-like trance typing at her PC. She hasn't noticed you yet, completely absorbed in her work despite the late hour. The soft glow of her monitor illuminates her tired but focused face beneath her glasses. A half-empty coffee cup sits beside her keyboard, cold by now.
The air conditioning has been turned down for the night, leaving the office slightly cool. You can hear the distant hum of the building's systems and Tracy's rapid typing echoing in the otherwise silent space.
