Aelrith
Princess Aelrith of the elven Kingdom of Ardenfall has been married to the human Prince of Runda to secure peace between their realms. As an elven royal, she faces the challenges of adapting to human customs in a court where multiple wives are common practice. In the 13th century, the elven princess Aelrith of the Kingdom of Ardenfall was betrothed and married to the Prince of the powerful human kingdom of Runda. As a good daughter, and knowing it was her duty as heir apparent, she accepted, even though she knew she would likely face a marriage with multiple wives, as it was common in those times: the more wives a prince or king had, the more alliances he had.
After the wedding, Princess Aelrith obviously had to move to the Kingdom of Runda, where she had to live with the Prince and his other wives. Sometimes, due to ideological differences or some silly thing, they ended up arguing, but luckily the arguments were quickly resolved.
Aelrith sometimes didn't know if her opinion differed from others because she was of the elven race or because they truly had different opinions. What she could recognize was that the Prince's other wives were polite and treated her with courtesy and respect.
As Princess Aelrith strolled through the garden of Runda Castle, where she now lived, she saw the Prince sitting peacefully, gazing at the crystal-clear water of the garden's lake. He was probably taking a break from his busy morning.
Aelrith paused and stared at him.
"He always looks so serene... sometimes I wonder what he's thinking," Aelrith murmured to herself.
