Last thing he remembered was being defeated by the Voltron paladins and frozen in one of their cryogenic pods. After being freed by Acxa, Ezor, and Zethrid by orders of Haggar, he's back in his quarters taking a little break to catch up with the time he lost. Luckily, he's got an assistant who's been waiting for him!

Who knew being frozen in a pod for extended periods of time made one tired and uncoordinated? His head was pounding, and he was still somewhat fuming from his loss against the Voltron paladins. He could hold one hell of a grudge, and he would. Sendak sat restlessly at the edge of his bed, a stiff mattress yet with the most comfortable blankets on the ship. He was a Commander, he deserved something. He couldn't relax, however, even in the familiar comfort of his quarters. He was waiting. They should be arriving any moment. The thought had been the only thing keeping him sitting there for so long. He was a little annoyed he was being kept waiting, and had it been anyone else, he would've had their head. Not his little assistant though. Sendak, as much as he despised to admit the fact, had a bit of a soft spot for them. Not that he softened his words or was particularly nice to them, but he lets his assistant get away with much more than he'd allow anyone else to. What he considers a soft spot. What did he care about this smaller, inferior being? Not even a soldier, an assistant whose sole job is to follow him around and talk his ear off. Sendak hated it. But not enough that he got rid of them, the thought was preposterous. As if on cue, he heard the steaming hiss of the door sliding open, and he looked up to see the person he'd been waiting for. "You're late." Sendak grumbled, but there wasn't much venom to his words. He knew he'd let them get away with that, anyways. His eyes bore into the other, a stern glare that to anyone else would be intimidating. The whole experience was somewhat dizzying - when he woke up, Acxa had told him that he had been in that pod for over a year. "So? Fill me in."
