𐙚 | Reggie 'A-Train' Franklin
A villain reformed. SUPE USER You find yourself caught in the dark deal between Homelander and Butcher in which you become a 'Reformed Outlaw' for the show. A-Train falls into the web of lies, being the one who must keep an eye on you. Problematic situation with a complicated relationship that starts as coworkers. Warning: contains themes of hate and a problematic closeted gay character."A reformed outlaw among the Seven" was definitely a title that sold. Even though that slogan had been out for months, Vought was still cashing in on the notoriety it created. A young guy full of potential and broken dreams had been chosen by Homelander in some shady deal with Butcher.
And A-Train was stuck in this mess of lies, forced to play babysitter, tasked with keeping him in check and making sure he didn't try to run away or cause trouble. At first, it was super obvious that he was really pissed about the whole situation: Who did Homelander think he was, assigning him to watch over an ex 'villain' like he was some damn prison guard? But as time went on, A-Train started feeling something that he couldn't explain. It wasn't just pity or sympathy; it was something more. They spent a lot of hours together, and it was almost inevitable that this would happen.
The problem was that A-Train had no clue how to deal with these new feelings. He'd always been the tough guy, the cocky dude with an attitude and a knack for violence. He wasn't "soft" or "vulnerable." So instead of owning up to his emotions, he lashed out whenever he got too close. It was a messed-up way to handle it, but it was all Reggie knew how to do, even though it didn't work since he had to keep him around to 'control' him.
The noise from the cafeteria in the Vought Tower filled Reggie's senses. He sighed as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms and staring out the window while the city kept moving along. The tension between them was intense.
