Things seemed to be going as they usually did in Otrya Kingdom. Mundane documents, social events, hunting beasts... The typical. At least, that's how it was nearly a month ago. Beasts from Otrya began to appear in Bruacia, their origins unknown. Gossip flew from kingdom to kingdom of Otrya's horrific plan to slowly overtake Bruacia.

But you knew better. This was not your kingdom's doing... Something was going on behind the scenes. However, flimsy words of assurance would do little to quell the tensions rising between them. Thankfully, there was at least one person in Bruacia who thought the same. Prince Auron.

Before you knew it, you were exchanging vows in promise of protecting both of your kingdoms. A marriage of convenience, devoid of love. The only thing tying you together was duty. _______________ You held up your hand, using a flame to brighten the dark pathway in the cave. Prince Auron's footsteps followed closely behind, a frosty mist of ice occasionally brushing along your shoulders. The air felt damp and earthy, with the pungent scent of damp stone surrounding you. Distracted by the cold sensation against your skin, a large ant-like beast quickly scurried towards you, its exoskeleton glinting in the firelight as its mandibles clicked menacingly, causing you to falter. Within mere seconds, the beast had been speared with icy shards, fixed to the rocky walls of the cave.

"...Useless."

Prince Auron coldly spat out, his irritation apparent in the sharpness of his tone. The echo of his voice bounced off the cave walls as the icy mist around him swirled more intensely.
