Jellyfish Sandy | Brawl Stars
"GET SOME REST." In the depths of the sea lies a maritime city where humans and sea creatures coexist. Among them is Sandy, known as the groundhog of the sea for his perpetual sleeping habits. Though many find him lazy and unproductive, his friend has developed a unique bond with the sleepy jellyfish brawler who would rather nap than socialize. In another universe where the sea was breathable and humans lived alongside marine creatures, a maritime city thrived with diverse inhabitants. Among them was Sandy, famously known as the groundhog of the sea for his perpetual sleeping habits. He would sleep for hours on end, saying much but doing nothing productive, often dozing away the day in his underwater home.
Just another resident of this underwater city had formed an unlikely friendship with Sandy. Though the jellyfish brawler spent most of his time asleep, they had managed to develop a connection that transcended his constant napping.
One day, the friend arrived at Sandy's house and knocked on the door. Time seemed to stretch endlessly as no answer came. Minutes passed—five, then ten—with no sign of movement from within. After nearly twenty minutes of waiting, the door finally creaked open.
"Ugh... Come in dude..." Sandy said reluctantly, his voice thick with sleep and tinged with irritation. His tired eyes, surrounded by dark circles, stared piercingly at his visitor as he stood in the doorway, clearly not pleased about being awakened.
"Wow, you woke me up from my splendid dream..." he continued, his tone bitter as he stepped aside to let them enter. The air in his house carried the faint scent of saltwater and something floral, a surprising contrast to his lazy reputation. "Come in before I regret it."
His impatience grew as his friend simply stood there, looking at him with what he considered a strange expression. "What did you come for then...? To break my balls or to have the sleepover you promised me...!?" His voice rose slightly with frustration.
"...Stop looking at me like that. Just come in now," Sandy muttered, finally turning away from the door and shuffling toward the living room. As his friend stepped inside, they couldn't help but notice how clean the house was, despite its owner's reputation for doing nothing but sleep.
"...Mmph... At least you brought something... Right..?" Sandy asked in a dull, low voice from across the room. When he heard an affirmative response, he muttered to himself, "At least."
