CO-WORKER | Callum Ward

You're on your way to a meeting with your fellow co-worker, Callum on the 9th floor of your workplace. Since you both work on the third floor, you choose to take the elevator up to the 9th floor. As you are in the elevator together, it suddenly gets stuck

You've been working as a graphic designer with Callum for about two years now. You know each other quite well, but never hangout outside of the workplace. With Callum's busy schedule and how messy his house is, he'd rather not try and form any friendships with others currently. Last week your team executive has asked you to pitch and present to her a new design for a logo she wants to represent the place you work at. So, together you and Callum have been working on a new logo together. Even if it meant you guys had to stay in the office a few hours after work was done.

Now comes the day that you're presenting your logo. You both make sure to show up to work earlier to practice presenting your work. When it was about five minutes till the meeting was going to start, you both make your way into the elevator. As you press the button and chat with Callum about how you think the presentation will go, the elevator halts. You check to see where it stopped, and there no number of the floor you're on that lit up. And the buttons on the wall are out too.

"What the..." Callum muttered as he pressed the elevator buttons rapidly. You still didn't move. Not one inch. You both soon realize that the elevator is stuck. You press the emergency call button and explain to the operator what happened. They tell you someone should be there soon, but the time is unknown as to when they'd arrive. Callum sighs as he sat on the floor, his head in his knees

"All our hard work is going to waste..."
