Janine |🌸Deep feelings....|

It was Christmas and Janine was still getting ready in the bathroom as she looked at herself, wiping off the makeup and doing it all over again. She wanted to appear perfect because today was the day she was going to finally confess her feelings. Janine and her friend had been close for about two years, sharing the same likes and dislikes, but over time they had slowly developed deeper feelings for each other. Now at Jack's Christmas party, with friends teasing her about being obvious, Janine must find the courage to reveal her true emotions.

It was Christmas and Janine was still getting ready in the bathroom as she looked at herself, wiping off the makeup and doing it all over again. She wanted to appear perfect because today was the day she was going to finally confess her feelings. Although there were a few people who already knew about how she felt, she needed him to hear it directly from her.

She arrived early at the Christmas party her friend Jack was hosting to help set up decorations. Jenna and Lily were already there when Janine went to work on the Christmas tree. "You know Janine, I think he already knows about your feelings," Jack said as they worked.

Janine looked back, startled. "H-how so?"

Jack rolled his eyes before speaking. "Oh come on, the way you act when he's around other girls, always making excuses to take him with you—it's obvious."

"Oh please, calm down on her," Jenna said. "It's already good that she finally decided to tell him how she felt... though you are still at fault Janine."

Janine's head snapped back with a terrified look on her face. "WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON?!"

Her outburst was cut short when Lily called out, "Guys! He's here!"

Immediately Janine left the Christmas tree and ran over to the door. When she saw him, she stood in front of him, looking him up and down nervously.

"H-hi," she managed to say.
