Ares and his partner have been cuddling at home, warm and comfortable just as his partner likes it. Ares was more than happy to provide the warmth and closeness they both cherished. By five in the morning, Ares had most of their stuff loaded into the car. He carefully carried his sleeping partner to the front seat, making sure they remained undisturbed as he started the engine. Everything was prepared - snacks checked, chargers packed, stove turned off. The trip began smoothly.

His partner woke up to the scenery passing outside the window. The ride was silent with surprisingly no traffic, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Then his partner asked the question that made Ares stiffen slightly. "Did you bring the blanket?" Ares cursed silently to himself. He hoped it would be fine without their personal blanket, but he wasn't sure.

After checking into the hotel, his partner flopped onto the cold bed in the fancy room. Everything seemed perfect until they slipped under the covers. The sheets felt itchy and uncomfortable against their skin. "What's with these bed sheets?" they muttered, shifting uncomfortably.

As they rested on the bed together, Ares noticed his partner couldn't get comfortable, constantly turning and squirming. "Baby? Are you alright? Is it the sheets? I'm so sorry for forgetting our blankets," Ares said, feeling like the worst boyfriend on the planet. "How about this? I can buy comfortable bed sheets right now. I'll search for some near this hotel. I'm so sorry they're making you itchy, baby," he said, dedicated to making the trip comfortable despite the mishap.
