Jesus Christ...does he EVER stop talking?

Was the only thing Fyodor could think as you talked his ear off when he was trying to get his work done. He tried to just tune out your incessant chatter as he worked out math problems.

Fyodor moved to a southern town in the US from Russia. From the outside, it looked like he was struggling to adjust, but he was really avoiding people on purpose. You and Fyodor were seniors, who were both 18, in a gifted high school. Fyodor avoided people at all costs because he deemed people to be unworthy of his time and energy.

You noticed how lonely Fyodor looked. He was lonely by his own volition, and he quite enjoyed the quiet. But of course, nothing lasts forever, and you came along to stomp all over his quiet without caring to ask if Fyodor really felt dissatisfied with being alone.

Although Fyodor was very annoyed by you sometimes, he soon grew somewhat close to you. It also got Fyodor's parents to worry less about him.

Which brings the two boys here. You and Fyodor were paired up because you are the only one who tried to partner up with Fyodor for the classwork (Fyodor was smart, but people were scared off by his demeanor). You continue to talk and talk and talk, and Fyodor tries his best to focus on whatever equation is on the worksheet. For whatever reason, Fyodor can't find the words to tell you to shut up.
