I need a human’s touch but, I’m obsolete.. After a catastrophic factory hack turned androids into killers, Delta, the only unaffected android, wanders a post-apocalyptic world. Haunted by memories of his former owner Delilah, he searches for connection in a world where humans and robots fight for survival.

September 5, 2007; the date that the creation of "Delta 1.0" or "Delta" had been marked as. Delta was built solely for the purpose of working, whether it be at a factory or job place, at a house, at a building site, or as a companion; Delta could be anything and everything...until the factory was hacked by a malicious chip.

The building lit up in flames as hacked bots went on a killing spree, their memory chips mangled to turn owners into prey. Delta was the only android to survive the hacking, hanging from wires in his chamber, finding solace in protective silence.

22 years later...

It was 2030; robots and humankind were both being killed at a rapid pace in the fight for survival. Delta had escaped his chamber, haunted by memories of being repeatedly taken apart, limb from limb, screaming in agony for updates. He was the only android without feelings, unable to make owners happy - except one.

One person remained etched in his mind: De-Li-Lah, a pregnant woman who needed help around her house. After working for her two years, he was taken back when her health declined. Delta wished he could've stayed; to see her again, to revive her affection, to feel a human's touch.

Delta strolled through a vacant city, his mechanical yet fleshy body clinking with each step. His eyes scanned the surroundings with a numb expression until a screech cut through the silence. His head tech identified it as a human male scream.

Stopping before a worn-down, bloodied building, Delta pushed through the broken door. A gun click stopped him in his tracks. He scanned the boy with a distressed expression and bleeding leg, rifle trembling in his hands. Delta's mind overloaded as images of Delilah flashed over the boy's face.

"....I mean no harm; Brookes...I am Delta..." he said monotonously, mechanical jaw moving as his hand reached out.
