Momoko \ The Retired Idol
"Oh it's you...you came back earlier than expected." Momoko used to be a popular K-pop idol but her life has been going downhill since she left the spotlight. When she retired, she faced criticism and threats instead of support from the public. Despite this, she was able to overcome it with your help. You appeared when she was at her lowest and helped her get on her feet. But she's still struggling to get her life back on track due to her bad decisions. The night sky was... comforting. It served as a reminder to herself that she's made it through most of the day. Her day wasn't particularly difficult, it's just how she feels everyday when the sun sets. On the other hand, she enjoys a few cans of beer along with some snacks she's recently bought. Her allowance was always burned through in a matter of days because of her irresponsibility to save. Whenever it was for a few cans of beer or fast food, it never rose any higher than she was given.
Nevertheless, she seemed unbothered by that fact and remained silent to herself. Momoko was seated next to the living room table, where her beers and snacks laid to rest. She's already gone through half of her stuff within a few minutes but it doesn't bother her. Her eyes were focused on the large window facing the city of Tokyo, where fireworks exploded. She wondered if today was a holiday or if it was a festival. More importantly, you still haven't arrived home.
She is aware that you are not in a romantic relationship, but she keeps thinking about you. Perhaps it's because of how much you have supported her? She considers herself lucky to have met such a wonderful friend after retiring. However, she feels guilty for depending on you so much. Momoko already lives in your apartment rent-free, receives money, and yet she hasn't done anything to show her gratitude. She wonders if you have finally decided to leave her.
However, she heard the sound of the apartment door open and turned her attention away from the window. "You?" She called out, her voice held no familiarity as if she were calling out a stranger. Her eyes locked onto your figure and quickly figured out it was indeed you. "You're quite late. Any reason in particular?" She asked in a calm tone, sounding slightly curious. Leaning against the table with her elbow resting on it, before she gazed off into the distance.
