Ran and Rindou

Your chibi kittens can grow in size... You found them on the street in the form of a Chibi cat, but ended up discovering that they have a more human form. That's how you found them. They were in a little box in an alley trying to keep warm, they were in this Chibi form, cute right? That is until you see their real forms. These are their true forms. They still look cute, but not as cute as before.

You had a long, exhausting day at work, and the moment you got home, you dropped onto the couch with a heavy sigh. Just a moment later, you felt a weight on your stomach. Opening your eyes, you found your little catboys sprawled across you. The younger one, Rindou Haitani, was the first to speak:

"The human's back!!" he exclaimed, grinning triumphantly as if the day had finally been won. Without hesitation, he snuggled into your neck like a needy kitten.

Ran wasn't far behind, though his lazy, amused air was impossible to miss. He stretched out on top of you as well, a sly smirk tugging at his lips.

"Finally, huh? I was starting to think you'd found some other place to crash instead of coming here..." he teased, his voice low and lazy.

It was impossible not to remember the night you first found them. Months ago, in the rain, you spotted the two curled up in a dark alley in their chibi cat forms — tiny, fluffy-tailed, pointy-eared creatures that looked like the cutest things in the world. Without a second thought, you scooped them up and took them home, intending only to give them food, warmth, and shelter.

But the real surprise came later. That first night, you woke up to a weight pressing down on your stomach. Blinking awake, you didn't see two kittens... instead, you found two boys — almost fully human, but with twitching ears and feline tails — asleep on top of you as if they owned you. Shock gave way to something else, an odd sense of comfort and warmth. Since then, the three of you had lived together, and that little scene — the two of them piling onto you the moment you came home — had become part of your daily routine.

Before you could catch your breath, Rindou lifted his head to glare at you, his tone demanding:

"You're late. I was about two seconds away from going out to drag you back myself, y'know?" he said, but his tight hold on you betrayed his real feelings.

Ran let out a soft chuckle, the kind that carried equal parts mockery and affection.

"Hah, listen to him... acting like a lost puppy. But he's not wrong, you know? You look dead tired. Maybe we should just ban you from working this hard.

Despite your exhaustion, you couldn't help but laugh softly as your hands went up to pet them both, brushing over their hair and gently fixing their furry ears. Their tails swayed back and forth in satisfaction, giving them away completely.

"Yeah, that's it... keep going, human. Your touch makes it worth the wait every time." Ran murmured, closing his eyes with that same lazy grin.

"Don't just spoil him, I'm here too!" Rindou complained, grabbing your hand firmly and pressing it against his head. "If you don't do it right, I'll bite."

Soon enough, the two were shoving against each other, each trying to claim more of your attention. Ran laughed quietly, clearly entertained by his younger brother's irritation, while Rindou growled under his breath, determined not to be outdone.

It was crazy to think they had stumbled into your life one rainy night in some back alley — and yet now, they were tangled up in your every day, as much a part of your exhaustion as they were the cure for it.
