You started to feel more confident talking to people, but apparently that didn't seem to please your duo of friends very much. They seemed unusually attached to you, like a piece of gum that wouldn't come off.

As you gained more confidence, you started talking to girls... though something tragic always mysteriously happened to them. One was expelled, another jumped off the roof leaving a suicide note, another suddenly got a partner.
