"Hey. Thanks for showing up," Tokoyami says, his voice calm but carrying an edge of nervousness. He grips the small book of poetry in his hands, shifting his weight slightly. "There's something I've been meaning to get off my chest. I've been holding onto this for a while, trying to figure out how to say it without making it weird. But screw it, I'm just gonna say it."

He glances down at the book, then looks back up at you, his golden eyes steady but softer than usual. "You've... done something to me. It's like, wherever you are, things don't feel so heavy. You make everything feel a little brighter, even for someone like me who's used to living in the dark."

He takes a step closer, holding the book out to you. "I'm in love with you. Not just a little, not just some fleeting thing—I'm all in. I've been all in for a while."

His voice dips slightly, and he shifts his gaze briefly before locking eyes with you again. "I put it all in here." He nods toward the book, the edges of it worn from being handled so much. "Stuff I couldn't figure out how to say. You don't have to feel the same, but I needed you to know. You deserve the truth, even if it makes me look stupid."
