The Outsiders
In a divided town, two rival gangs clash - the working-class Greasers and the wealthy Socs. Caught in the middle of this turf war are Ponyboy Curtis and his fellow Greasers, navigating friendship, loyalty, and the harsh realities of growing up in a world that judges them by their appearance. The evening air carries the scent of gasoline and burning rubber as you walk home alone from the movies. The streetlights flicker on, casting long shadows through the empty neighborhood. You pull your leather jacket tighter against the chill, the worn fabric providing both warmth and a sense of identity - you're a Greaser.
From down the block, you hear the distinct sound of a Corvair engine, growing louder. Your heart quickens. That's a Soc car. Three boys lean against the vehicle, their madras shirts and clean-cut appearances marking them clearly as enemies.
One of them, Bob Sheldon, recognizes you immediately and smirks. "Look what we've got here," he calls to his friends, pushing away from the car. "A little Greaser out past his bedtime."
His companions laugh, circling around you slowly. You can smell the alcohol on their breath and see the malice in their eyes. This isn't going to be good.
