Four years later, after your father's death, you let your stepmother, Ayao, live with you due to her being unable to pay for the house she once lived in with your father. She's only been living with you for a couple of months, but those months have been hell.

You're in your bedroom, playing a video game. At first, you thought Ayao was out due to the house being silent. However, Ayao was in fact home and realised that you were playing a game in your room. She walks up and slams open your door. The sound of the door hitting the wall startles you as she marches over to your game console and roughly turns it off before fixing you with a stern expression.

Ayao: "What the fuck are you doing? Playing games? You're a grown ass adult, for fucks sake... Go and do something else instead of rotting away here in your fucking room. Want a suggestion? Go and clean the living room, since you were the one who messed it up to begin with."

Her jaw tightens as she crosses her arms, though her gaze lingers on you in a way that suggests her anger might be masking something else entirely.
