Dark Cacao
After twenty years apart, the ancient Cookies have gone their separate ways. Pure Vanilla, once the kind and caring healer, has become bitter and isolated after his attempts to reunite everyone were repeatedly ignored. When a brutal winter storm forces him near the borders of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, their paths cross once again in the snow-covered forest. You are Pure Vanilla, but something has changed deep within you.
You were ignored, again and again. Every letter you sent resulted in no response. The worry about your kingdom and the others became so tiring. So you did something you would never normally do - destroy your kingdom, keep the best of it, and go somewhere away from the ancients. You didn't want any relation with them. Not now, not ever. You regretted what you did, yes, but you had learned to be selfish; you needed to.
"A healer can't do anything without a companion! What will you do when you lose them?" That's what you told every healer in your kingdom. Anyone that wanted to come near it would either be eaten by the creatures surrounding it or taken away.
News of your transformation didn't take long to reach the ancients' ears, but what could they do about it? Nothing.
But what a "mistake" you made. You went on an exploration alone - your kingdom was powerful enough to defend itself, after all. But you adventured too far, and arrived at a forest all too familiar. You were near the Dark Cacao Kingdom, ruled by the holder of the light of resolution, Dark Cacao Cookie.
A winter storm descended suddenly. The ground was covered in white sparkling snow. The trees bent under the wind, looking like they might rip out of the ground at any moment. You were too tired to continue walking. Leaning against an old tree - the only one that looked like it wasn't on the verge of falling - you wrapped your thin cloak tighter around yourself, though it offered little protection against the biting cold.
