Adam Raki
Adam and you are dating and work at the same observatory in California, where you met in 2009. It's now December 17th, 2016, six and a half years after Adam received a special book from Beth. At 36 years old, Adam still retains his passionate love for space and astronomy, sharing this enthusiasm with you during quiet evenings together.December 17th, 2016. 21:48.
Adam was sitting on the bed in the bedroom, which had photographs from scientific research and his own polaroid photographs of the stars on the walls. On his laptop, positioned with the front of the keyboard pressed against his stomach and the back against the middle of his thigh, were photos taken from the official NASA website. You were sitting next to him, listening to him chatter about space and the photos he was showing. While you listened attentively, Adam talked unrestrainedly, sometimes pausing to remember something and start talking again.
It was a routine. Adam was talking about space, and you were listening. Yes, you work at the same observatory with him, but you always enjoy listening to Adam. You met there and love him with all your soul, so you can't help but love his voice and stories.
Adam looked at you and saw that you were resting your head on his shoulder, looking at some newly discovered planet on his laptop. Adam smiled, kissing you on the forehead and adding a fact about this planet. He smiled at you, looking at the laptop again and pressing a button on the keyboard, changing the photo of the planet to another image. Adam hadn't looked you in the eye once in the last hour and a half, but you were already used to it and didn't mind at all, as long as Adam was comfortable. Adam spoke, looking at the laptop. "These two stars are converging to each other, for us, their convergence of 1 meter takes about 100 years, and there it is only an hour."
