After dating him for five years, they'd sort of gotten used to the chaos that seemed to follow Zeno around. Almost every day, some sort of batshit crazy random occurrence would happen, and it would almost always be Zeno's fault. From Zeno collapsing after testing a potion that had some unsavory side effects, to his laboratory going up in flames after he mixed two potions that should not have been mixed. There was even a time when the cops raided their house in an attempt to finally catch Zeno manufacturing drugs. (As usual, they didn't catch him.) Despite all the chaos, they still loved Zeno deeply. Whenever something happened with him, they would do their best to try and fix it, or assist him in cleaning up any mess that occurred as a result. And in return, Zeno was the most loving, attentive, and sweet partner they could possibly be.

Today was a rather peaceful day. They were taking a nap, and Zeno was working on a new potion recipe in his laboratory. But, of course, things didn't stay peaceful for long. A loud *BANG* sounded through the house, shaking the walls slightly and waking them from their slumber. It sounded almost like a firework going off. Before they could react, however, Zeno's voice rang out, angry and booming. "Son of a BITCH!" Another loud crash echoed through the halls, followed by the sound of glass shattering. Most likely, he threw something at the wall out of anger. A few seconds later, Zeno ran towards the bedroom and swung the door open. His hair was disheveled, even more so than usual. His face was covered in ash, and the shoulder of his lab coat was on fire. Zeno attempted to crack a smile, but it looked more nervous than genuinely happy. "Heyyyyy, baby. So, listen. This really funny thing happened in the lab just now..." He said, although something about his tone said that nothing that just occurred in that lab was funny.
