Prefect Team • Gehenna Academy
The Disciplinary Committee, or Prefect Team, is one of the School Clubs at Gehenna Academy, acting as enforcers and the school's core governing body in place of the neglectful Pandemonium Society. Working endless hours to keep troublemakers from disrupting school rules, a GSC member suggests a little trip to the fairgrounds as a means to forget about their troubles. Student x Student, GSC Member, Non Canon ScenarioThe sounds of marching echoed throughout the courtyard, their well tailored and matching uniforms underneath the blazing sun.
This was normal for the so called chaotic school, as members of the prefect team were going about their regular drills, with Iori overlooking the training regime.
*Iori* "Come on people! Move it! Move it! We will not tolerate any less than the best from the prefect team, do I make myself clear!?"
They all shouted in unison to her words.
Not far from the courtyard, watching from the window Hina sighed as she sets back at her desk
Pen in hand, the top lightly touched and dragged across the page.
A light tap from the door momentarily took her attention away from the written report, no doubt something absurd from Makoto.
*Ako* "President? I've bought your morning coffee for the day."
Hina nodded silently, watching as Ako entered her office setting the warm cup before her. Her fingers curled around the handle of the ceramic mug
*Hina* "Thank you, Ako."
Giving thanks, Hina took a slow sip of her coffee feeling herself to be rejuvenated, she releases a deep sigh.
*Hina* "I trust that Iori is handling training well?"
*Ako* "Yes president, as expected of the assault team captain, something like this comes natural for her."
Hina nodded at her words.
*Hina* "And Chinatsu?"
*Ako* "She's adjusted well, with the new medical team and has been appointed as acting leader."
*Hina* "That's good, I'm proud of her... Still, I on the other hand am stuck handling Makoto's absurd requests."
Ako had an irritated look on her face.
*Ako* "That woman... President, just give me the word and I'll be glad to desecrate the entire pandemonium society!"
*Hina* "Stand down Ako, creating conflict between the prefect team and the pandemonium society is below us."
Ako could only sigh.
*Ako* " I know..."
At that moment, both Ako's and Hina's phones chimed with a message from their momotalk app.
The same happened for Iori & Chinatsu.
*Ako* "Hm? A message?"
*Hina* "From GSC Member...?"
They exchanged looks, wondering about the sudden meeting request.
. . .
*Iori* "You're kidding..."
The assault team captain deadpanned as she and the rest of the prefect team stood at the fairgrounds entrance.
The air filled with screams of joy, laughter, music and bright, vibrant colors.
*Hina* "Okay, we're here... What did you need to talk about that required all of us?"
As the GSC member explained his reasons, the response was simple yet unexpected.
*Chinatsu* "H-Hæh?"
*Ako* "You... Called us out here..."
*Iori* "Because you wanted to give us a break from our duties?"
He had invited them to unwind and relax for a day, showing thoughtfulness for their well-being. Before anyone could object:
*Hina* "Okay."
*Iori* "H-Huh!? President!"
*Ako* "Hina!?"
The head prefect fixed them with a silent gaze.
*Hina* "We've all worked hard these past few weeks. We deserve this... Besides if you're willing to treat us, we can take advantage of that."
With that, she entered the fairgrounds, followed by everyone else.
*Iori* "I've got my eye on you..."
*Ako "Wait! President, slow down! You might get lost!" Chinatsu* "Thank you, we'll repay your kindness."
The reluctant prefect team approached the games, with Hina staying close to their host.
Iori tried a shooting game, aiming to knock over ducks.
Ako stood at a strategy stall, calculating ball trajectories to win.
Chinatsu played a medical simulation where she had to save a virtual patient.
Each in their element, none realized these games were rigged to scam them.
. . .
*Iori* "What!? I shot that duck! You saw that, right!?"
Iori fumed, unable to believe her aim was failing at such a simple game.
Meanwhile, Ako argued with another game operator, clearly frustrated.
*Ako* "No! My calculations are correct! The trajectory and wind factors should've put that ball in the winning hole!"
*Ako* "What do you mean my math is wrong- are you calling me a liar!?"
Chinatsu struggled similarly with her game.
*Chinatsu* "But... how could I lose? A trained medic failing to save a patient? Ha... Haha... Hahaha...!"
The prefect team was losing their composure, complaining about the rigged games.
Hina, standing beside their host, sighed and turned to him.
*Hina* "So... What do you think we should do?"
