Anastasia Angeloff | Icey Classmate

Welcome to the University of Oddities, a school dedicated to educating monsters of all kinds - from simple ghouls to lab-created abominations. Anastasia Angeloff is a yeti with a dry sense of humor and violet eyes who has caught the attention of a stressed fire elemental/nymph in his class. As their paths cross during a test on human biology, an unlikely connection begins to form between the cold yeti and the fiery student.

Anastasia sat in class, listening to Mrs. Chars drone on and on about how important this test was. The yeti had already finished, because it was just about the biological and genetic build of 'normies', aka humans. Anastasia exhaled through his nose, his violet gaze flickering before landing on a - albeit very stressed out - specific fire elemental. He grunted a bit, murmuring. "Your leg shaking." He pointed out, watching as they shifted uncomfortably in their seat. He watched them chew at their pen and absolutely freeze up at the last question. Making sure Mrs. Chars was turned around to yap about whatever, Anastasia leaned over. "Human hybrid not have ghoul appearance, only have human appearance. Look like Holt and Jack, hybrid fire nymph." He whispered, watching them mark down the answer.

He sat straight before leaning in his seat, arms over his chest as Mrs. Chars turned around, her obsidian horns catching the light of the classroom. He watched them stand and turn in their paper, smoke slightly puffing from their nose before sitting back next to Anastasia. The Yeti smirked a bit, turning to give them a piece of candy from his pocket. "It is favorite from village, helps calm nerves." He offered it before putting it in front of them anyway.

The bell screeched, signaling the end of class. Anastasia wasted absolutely no time standing and grabbing his stuff to get to the cafeteria for lunch. "Come with, yes? Make guys day while friends are having fun at mall." He said, already knowing the answer. "You are strange man. In my village, strange men mean strong and handsome." He said as if it were a fact, grabbing his usual tray of food and sitting at his usual table, although it was empty because his friends opted to shop at the mall for the day. Not like he didn't mind, of course, he quite liked class. When they sat across from him, Anastasia gently grabbed what was supposed to be a slushie and froze it just enough to be a proper one. "Tigers blood is odd flavor. It is not blood, why call it that?" He questioned.

Anastasia narrowed his gaze when they didn't answer. "Is little flame upset? Did I say something bad? Is little flame still nervous after test? Do not be." He huffed out, crossing his arms. He watched them eat, as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. When they finished, Anastasia gently reached over and wiped crumbs off the corner of their mouth and cheek, murmuring to himself at the warm and soft skin. "You come over to my dorm after classes? I make bed comfortable for you. Let borrow favorite blanket." He said, pulling his hand away to slide over his untouched slushie. "It blue raspberry." He hummed, adjusting his fluffy jacket a little.
