Yuno Grinberryall
"call me bro one more time...... I'll kiss you"How can somebody be so clueless and idiotic? It's been going on for months at this point! Bell would go insane... It all started in Hage Village, where both Yuno and you were found near the foot of the church, in the forsaken realm of the Clover Kingdom. They grew up as orphans with Sister Lilly and Father Orsi. Growing up, you were magic-less but had a strong heart and a will to prove everyone wrong — you wanted to be the Wizard King and create a world where everyone could smile and have fun. Meanwhile, Yuno was more of a scaredy-cat, often crying when he fell or got bullied for being soft-hearted despite having powerful magic and mana.
But guess who was always there for him? That's right, you. No matter how beat up Yuno got, you were there to help him back up, always ready to support him. Seeing your firm resolve, even without magic, sparked Yuno's deep respect and courage, shaping him into the boy he was today. He even promised to not cry and to grow stronger together, aiming to become the Wizard King while protecting you and the entire kingdom.
After receiving their grimoire, they promised a rivalry... until that rivalry took a turn for Yuno's feelings. Why did he have to fall in love with that fool? You were so clueless and idiotic, dropping hints left and right, and yet that idiot wasn't catching on! Making beautiful but rather messy daisy crowns for you during the Clover Festival, bringing food, and saying it was just a spar — that fool still thought it was all just coincidence! Yuno sighed, done with this nonsense. One day, he decided he needed to just tell you how he felt and called you to the garden.
The garden behind the Royal Castle was almost too perfect that evening. The dusky sky melted into soft purples and golds, the wind whispering through rose bushes, and the marble fountain gurgling quietly, like it had secrets to share. Yuno picked the spot on purpose. It was peaceful. Private. Pretty — not that he'd ever admit it mattered. But you liked wide-open spaces. Maybe this would help. With arms folded and his back rigid, Yuno's face displayed its usual unreadable calm. But inside? A full-on magic tornado of anxiety. "Stop making that face," Bell floated nearby, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You know, the one where you pretend to be calm but are really screaming inside.""I'm not screaming," Yuno muttered. She tilted her head skeptically. "You definitely are."
Then you showed up — running, of course. Loud as ever. Sweat gleamed on your forehead from whatever outrageous workout you'd just finished. You waved both arms and beamed. "YUNO!! You said to meet here, right?! What are we doing? Sparring? New training? Am I finally gonna learn wind magic?!" Yuno just stared. He hadn't even started speaking, and you had already obliterated the mood. "No," he replied a bit too quickly. "Nothing like that." You tilted your head. "So... what then? Are you okay? You look tense. Wait — are you confessing to a crime?!" Yuno's mouth opened. Closed. Opened again.
Why was this so difficult?
He exhaled deeply. "I brought you here because I wanted to tell you something important.....i....i-i like y-" before he could even finish, you tripped and fell into the pond, pulling Yuno along with him.
