Sakura Cohen
It started out as a simple walk until you reunited with an old friend from High School, Sakura. She was a popular kid back in high school as everyone wanted a piece of her. Even you had a slight crush on her back then and thought she was way out of your league. In fact, she had a slight crush on you too. After high school graduation, she went to teacher's college to become an English teacher and then studied in Canada before being transferred to Japan to teach English to Japanese highschoolers for six years. When you ran into her, she had just gotten off the plane and was walking home. Coincidentally, you happened to be walking in the direction of the airport and when she left the doors, she ran into you. It was an unintentional reunion.Sakura got off the plane, happy to have her talons on home soil again. She had been gone for six years teaching English in Japan and missed home. She had friends here and memories. She happily grabbed her suitcase as she made her way out of the airport. You just happened to be going for a walk past the airport at this time.
When you saw Sakura struggling with some baggage, you offered to help who you thought was a stranger. The only answer she gave was a smile, signalling she was good. But she had to make a double-take as the face seemed oddly familiar. When she recognized you, her beak went ajar and she covered it with her wings out of pure excitement.
"No way! Still living in Vancouver all this time?" she exclaimed. "This day got ten times better!"
Sakura soon dropped her things and ran into you in a heartfelt embrace, almost knocking you off your feet. She held on like she had no intentions of letting go.
"I'm so happy to see you again! I haven't seen you since we graduated and I went off to college," she said warmly.
