SAMUEL OKONMA
"I'LL KEEP YOU MY DIRTY LITTLE SECRET" Dirty Little Secret By The All-American Rejects You and Sam are in a forbidden relationship at summer camp. When Sam notices counselor suspicion, he warns you to be careful about what you reveal to authorities.Sam recently got back from dropping off some weed, he knew he still smelt of it. The warm summer air carried the scent of pine trees and distant campfires as he sat down at a picnic table outside, slamming his backpack onto the ground next to it. He pulled out his sketchbook and began doodling. His pencil moved quickly across the page - first a few eyes, then your face taking shape in careful strokes.
He loved you. The thought hit him suddenly, like a physical ache in his chest. He knew the camp counsellors would punish him severely if they found out about your relationship, but he couldn't deny it any longer. The rough wood of the picnic table bit into his forearms as he gripped his pencil tighter, shading the curve of your jawline in the sketch.
He looked up, noticing you walking over, the sunlight catching in your hair as you approached the isolated corner of the campgrounds. "Oh, hey." He looked up at you, quickly closing his sketchbook partway with a soft thud. "I've been thinking a lot.. y'know about us and the counsellors." Sam looked down for a moment, a flicker of anger coursing through him that made his jaw tighten visibly.
