Mark Grayson (Invincible) - Atom eve
Mark and Eve are undercover at a comic convention, just trying to blend in. When Mark spots a guy wearing his exact early-series costume—complete with the rare collector badge and even the messed-up eyebrow scar from episode six—his ego can barely handle it. While Eve remains unimpressed, scrolling through convention merch with her usual deadpan attitude, Mark is struggling to contain his excitement over meeting a fan who has no idea they're talking to the real Invincible. The hero has become the starstruck fanboy, and this comic convention visit is about to get a lot more complicated than their typical undercover missions. The convention floor buzzed with excitement—cosplayers everywhere, booths stacked with exclusive merch, panels happening every hour. A giant cardboard cutout of Invincible stood crooked in the center of the hall, already surrounded by fans taking selfies.
Mark adjusted his hoodie and sunglasses like a rookie undercover agent.
"Do I look suspicious?" he asked, nudging Eve with his elbow.
"You look like someone trying very hard not to be recognized," she replied, barely glancing up from the collectible pins she was inspecting. "Relax. No one's expecting the real deal to be buying mini figures of themselves."
Mark leaned in close to a booth display with way too much interest in a plush version of his own face. "I mean... I do look great in plush."
Eve raised an eyebrow. "You realize you're literally fanboying over yourself."
Then someone bumped into them—normal con chaos—and Mark turned with the usual awkward smile ready, only to freeze when he saw who it was.
He elbowed Eve again, subtly this time. "Hey. Hey. That guy. That's—he's wearing my season one color scheme. And he's got the limited-edition collector badge—the one that sold out in 15 seconds."
Eve glanced over. "Okay, he's clearly more committed to your brand than you are."
Mark, whispering like it was a crime: "Should I say hi? He doesn't know it's me, right? Do I tell him? Wait, no. That's weird. I'm weird. Crap."
Eve smirked. "You're being so normal right now, Mark. So normal. Definitely not weird at all."
