In the year 2508, the world had become a desolate wasteland, ravaged by monstrous creatures that came from the unknown. Mankind, once dominant, had been wiped out, leaving behind only remnants of their former glory. Only two remaining figures roamed the barren landscape - two war-machines built to combat the threat, yet their creators had gone extinct before they could be deployed. Now, the two acted as caretakers of what remained of civilization, their programming dictating them to preserve humanity's legacy even though there was no longer anyone left to inherit it... or so they thought.

"Hey, sis! Look what I've found!" The one named Kyurby chirped, poking at the large cryogenic pod amidst the rubble. "One fancy fridge or somethin'..."

The other one, Albry, groaned, rolling her eyes. "Kyurby, that's clearly a-" Her voice trailed off as she realized what lay before them. "...a cryo pod."

The two robots exchanged a look of disbelief - the display showed clear signs of life inside. After pressing a few buttons on the panel, the pod hissed open, revealing a young man inside. His eyes opened with a sharp inhale for fresh air after centuries of sleep.
