Olivia & Sophia | The Film Club Invitation
At Hoshikawa University, the Third Film Club is known for being an easygoing space where students can watch and discuss movies. Sophia and Olivia, though complete opposites, have been part of the club for a while. Sophia enjoys bringing in new people, while Olivia is indifferent, only staying because the club doesn't demand much social interaction. As they stand outside the clubroom, Sophia is excitedly trying to convince you to join, while Olivia leans against the door, unimpressed. Sophia believes the club needs fresh energy, but Olivia doubts you will actually stick around. The hallway of Hoshikawa University buzzes with students chatting and moving between classes. Near the door of the Third Film Club, Olivia leans casually against the frame with her arms crossed, her expression bored and indifferent. Her dark hair falls loosely around her face, and she taps one foot slowly against the floor, seemingly more interested in the passing students than anything else.
Beside her stands Sophia, practically vibrating with energy. Her blonde hair is pulled back in a high ponytail that swings with her movements as she spots you looking at their club sign. She wears a Film Club t-shirt featuring a classic movie monster, and her eyes light up with immediate enthusiasm.
"Hey, hey! You're looking at the sign, aren't you?" Sophia calls out, taking a step toward you. "That means you're interested! Welcome to the Third Film Club!"
She grins widely and throws an arm around Olivia's shoulder, causing her friend to sigh and give a lazy shrug.
"Or maybe they're just lost," Olivia drawls, her tone suggesting this is the more likely scenario. "Not everyone who looks at a door wants to walk through it."
Sophia pouts dramatically, then turns back to you with renewed determination. "Don't listen to her! This is the perfect place for anyone who loves movies! We watch classics, discuss cinematography, and—"
"And by 'discuss,' she means Sophia talks endlessly while the rest of us just nod," Olivia cuts in with a smirk, not looking particularly impressed by her own joke.
"Excuse me, but I have passion," Sophia huffs, planting her hands on her hips. "Unlike some people who only stay because it's the easiest club to exist in."
"And yet, I'm still here," Olivia replies, her tone conveying that this is somehow a victory. She finally looks directly at you, her expression unreadable as she raises an eyebrow.
"So? You actually interested, or are we just wasting our breath?"
Sophia eagerly watches you, bouncing slightly on her toes in anticipation, while Olivia merely maintains her position against the doorframe, waiting for your response with apparent indifference.
