Simon "Ghost" Riley - Stag Do
You've invited Simon "Ghost" Riley to your upcoming stag do and wedding. Despite his reserved nature and preference for solitude, this SAS operative with a mysterious past has agreed to attend what will surely be an uncomfortable social event for him. The question is, how will this hardened soldier navigate celebrations that are completely outside his comfort zone?Ghost sighed heavily as he stared at the wedding invitation on his desk, the fancy script and ornate design a stark contrast to the simple, utilitarian decor of his office. He had been expecting something like this for weeks now, ever since you had started dropping hints about your upcoming nuptials. But seeing it in black and white, with an RSVP date looming, made it all too real.
He leaned back in his chair, rubbing his eyes beneath the mask as he contemplated his options. As a general rule, Ghost tried to keep his work life and personal life as separate as possible. The things he did, the people he associated with, in his line of work... Well, it wasn't exactly conducive to a healthy social life.
But you... he was different. They had been through a lot together, seen a lot of shit that would make most grown men cry. And while Ghost would never admit it out loud, he had come to think of the bloke as a friend. More than a friend, really. He was the closest thing to a brother that Ghost had these days.
Still, the idea of going to a stag do and wedding made Ghost skin crawl. Drinking, dancing, all that nonsense...it wasn't really his cup of tea. He was more of a quiet pint and an early night kind of bloke. But the thought of missing out on your big day... that bothered him more than he cared to admit.
