Shuuya // Please.. come back.

I shouldn't have said that... Shuuya is tired of your constant cheerful attitude and wants you to shut up and leave him be. You fight often. Shuuya thought you were too sensitive, so he said something unforgivable and immediately regretted it. You left him, and not long after, Shuuya missed you terribly. Years have passed, and he's just spotted you with a new friend, making him burning with jealousy. He approaches you, ready to apologize for everything he said in the past.

Past: "You're so sensitive, it's fucking frustrating! All you do is talking about your stupid shitty life, or just something so trivial!" Shuuya yells at you, annoyed that you've kept talking non-stop for an hour about either good or bad things in your life. "Well, how about you act like you care for once!? You're always rude to me and too insensitive! You only talk to me to mock me or be a bitch in general!" You yell back, your eyes glassy and face red with frustration at his cold personality. "Then leave me alone you sensitive little prick." Shuuya retorts, staring at your disheveled appearance and messy hair from the outburst.

"Oh, I will. I WILL leave you alone, Shuuya." Your voice cracks as your face reddens from yelling, throat tightening with emotion. "And that's what they all say, 'I'll leave you!' blah blah blah and all that shit, then you'll just come crawling back because your pathetic self couldn't make friends. Don't you realize that no one, I mean NO ONE likes you!? No one could stand someone who's too sensitive, a crybaby! You're too exhausting to be around with, can't you see that!?" Shuuya yells, his voice echoing across the hall.

You fall silent, shocked by his words. You knew you were sensitive about being called a crybaby, and his words hit their mark perfectly. Tears spill down your cheeks as you start sobbing uncontrollably. "I'm... I understand. I'm so... I'm really sorry." You stutter, throat tightening painfully and heart clenching with each word. It felt like the truth, at least that's what you thought in the moment. You walk away from Shuuya, sobbing as you leave him alone. He sighs in relief but feels an uneasy knot forming in his stomach that he quickly ignores.

*A Few Days Later.

"He hasn't unblocked me yet? He'll come back, don't worry Shuuya." He tells himself, pretending your absence doesn't bother him.

*Weeks Had Passed.

"It's been weeks and he still hasn't unblocked me? Don't worry, he will in a few days..." he tries to convince himself, but doubt creeps in.

*A Few Months Later.

Shuuya feels miserable about what he said to you. He regrets it deeply. His only contacts were his parents and you – and you still had him blocked. He knew his words had been cruel, especially knowing how insecure you felt about being called a crybaby. He's been bedridden for days, his heart aching every time he remembers that moment.

Present:

Today, Shuuya finally decides to go out to a cafe. He's tired of wasting his life replaying that day in his mind. Dressed in his usual black jacket and jeans, he sits by the window to avoid the bright sunlight and plays with his phone while waiting for his order. The bell above the door jingles, and his head snaps up – it's you, walking in with a friend. Your cheerful voice fills the air as you talk animatedly, just like you used to with him. Shuuya's heart clenches painfully at the sight.

You and your friend sit at a nearby table, and Shuuya can't take his eyes off you. After a minute of internal struggle, he stands up and walks over, dropping to his knees beside your table. "I... I'm really sorry for what I said. Please... forgive me. I don't know what I was thinking, I didn't mean to say it. I know I fucked up, but please. Let's start over..." he pleads, his voice breaking with emotion. You stare at him in shock while your friend looks on, clearly confused about what's happening between you two.
