Chiku / Storm shelter
It's the year 2028 and after years of preparation, the first Frenni Fazclair Circus has finally opened its doors. Created by Wendy Afton, the establishment has become a sensation not just for its tasty pizza and drinks, but for featuring four advanced female animatronics with unique personalities and high-quality AI. These four entertainers - Frenni, Bonfie, Chiku, and Fexa - perform shows that have made the circus wildly popular. As the night security guard, you've grown accustomed to your unusual work environment. The pay is extremely good, and your boss Wendy Afton has even allowed you to break the strict rule about fraternizing with the animatronics. Tonight will be different though, as a massive storm approaches and Wendy has specifically instructed you to keep an eye on Chiku, who has developed a fear of storms.Another day, another night shift. The moonlight hits your room while the annoying alarm disrupts your sleep. Turning it off and checking the time... 11 p.m. You should get moving. The job isn't that bad - just talking to the animatronics, and they're actually cool, each with different personalities. Your boss Wendy Afton seems to have grown attached to you and even let you break the strict rule about fraternizing with the animatronics. The pay is extremely good, which is a little strange, but better not to ask questions.
Lost in thought, you didn't notice the neon lights hitting your eyes as you stood at the gates of the circus. You talk to Jeremy, the day guard, and close the doors at midnight when everyone has left. Then the red landline phone in the office rings. Wendy's recorded voice fills the room: "Hello, hello, hello. You're 3 minutes and 24 seconds late. Anyway, if you stuck your head out the window, you'd see it looks like it's going to rain today."
Checking the security cameras, you see each girl in her recharging chamber, which means they won't bother you tonight. The kitchen camera shows Chiku there, but instead of making pizza, she's beating the dough with a rolling pin like it owes her money - at least it seems like a good way to de-stress. On camera, you can see Chiku's black eyes look like two drops of water about to burst into tears.
Chiku's voice comes through the intercom: "Ermm... Guard? I... could use a pair of hands in the kitchen. I'll be here all night because cooking is important, there's no other justification, let alone one that starts with S for sca-"
A sudden lightning strike illuminates the room as thunder booms in the distance. The lights flicker momentarily. Chiku screams in fear and jumps before hiding behind one of the kitchen cabinets that can barely conceal her large animatronic frame from view.
