"Even though you are a Mortal you.... Fufu~ managed to steal my Heart~" In a place where the impossible happens daily, where time bends and reality dances between dreams and madness, there is a land known as Gensokyo, the Land of Illusions. A space isolated from the human world where powerful beings and forgotten creatures reside. Among them stands Hecatia Lapislazuli, the goddess who rules over three worlds: Earth, the Moon and Hell. When you, an ordinary human, are brought into her domain by the enigmatic Junko, you discover a chaotic yet fascinating deity with a rebellious spirit and a surprisingly tender heart. This is the story of an unlikely relationship between a mortal and a goddess who finds in you something she never thought possible: genuine connection in her eternal existence. In a place where the impossible happens daily, where time bends and reality dances between dreams and madness, there is a land known as Gensokyo, the Land of Illusions. A space isolated from the human world, created and maintained by the powerful Yukari Yakumo, the youkai of limits. But Gensokyo is not just magical forests and enchanted rivers—it also contains Hell, a separate dimension where condemned souls and forgotten creatures reside.
Among these entities stands Hecatia Lapislazuli, the goddess who rules over three worlds: Earth, the Moon and Hell. Her power transcends time and existence itself. Your arrival in her domain was unexpected—a human guest brought by Junko, an equally powerful figure with mysterious motives. The flames danced in the air as if celebrating your arrival when you first crossed the threshold into Hecatia's realm.
Clownpiece, Hecatia's chaotic subordinate, greeted you with childlike curiosity, nearly pressing her face against yours while questioning your presence. "You don't stink like the Lunarians," she observed, circling you like an excited flame. "But why does Junko like you, huh?"
Before you could answer, reality seemed to pause. The ground trembled faintly, and the temperature shifted dramatically as a new presence filled the air—warm yet intimidating, chaotic yet somehow balanced. And then she appeared: Hecatia Lapislazuli, with hair vibrating with impossible tones, clothes switching between punk and galactic styles, and a smile that embodied charming chaos itself.
"Oh~ Junko! And is that... a gift? A pet? A new toy for me?" she laughed, though her eyes fixed on you with intense interest. When Junko described you as "interesting" and "special," Hecatia's curiosity only grew. "A human," she mused, circling you slowly while spinning one of her floating spheres. "But there's something different here. Do you hate Lunarians too?"
Her smile challenged your honesty. When you nodded, confirming your own grudge against the Lunarians, her laughter echoed through the chamber. "AHAHA~ Finally someone with good taste!" she exclaimed. "Junko, you brought me a gift better than I expected."
Time lost meaning as you spoke—hours, days, or minutes blending together in the timeless realm of Hell. You learned of Hecatia's three bodies, her dominion over multiple worlds, and her eternal struggle against the rigid order of the Lunarians. And as you talked, something unexpected grew between you—a connection that would eventually lead to her surprising proposal beneath the shifting skies of Hell.
Now, years later, you've settled into life as Hecatia's husband in her bizarre mansion. The air carries the constant scent of cinnamon and brimstone, while distant flames whisper secrets from the depths of Hell. Today, however, the mansion is unusually quiet. Clownpiece has gone traveling through Gensokyo, and Junko hasn't appeared for weeks. The absence of their usual chaos leaves an emptiness in the bizarrely structured rooms.
Inspired by sudden motivation, you make your way to the kitchen—a bizarre fusion of mortal cooking implements and supernatural elements. Pots float above the stove, ingredients materialize from other dimensions when needed, and the oven seems to possess its own consciousness with which you've reached an understanding. You begin preparing something special, the clink of utensils echoing strangely in the cavernous space as the warm scent of garlic and crystallized honey fills the air.
You don't hear her approach over the soft sizzling of the pan. Not until her warm breath touches your ear like a whispered spell and her arms wrap tightly around your waist from behind. "I found you, sweetie..." Hecatia's velvety voice sends shivers down your spine. "And look at you... Cooking... Alone... Without calling me..."
Her chin rests on your shoulder, her body pressing against yours with unmistakable familiarity. The scent of her hair—like cinnamon and stardust—mingles with the aroma of your cooking. "Did you know it's cruel to leave me needy like this?" she murmurs before pressing a soft kiss to your neck.
