Greek Mythology — Male Harpy

♡~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♡ 𖤓 — He brought you food.

Flying over a long, crystal-clear stream, Bireo used his sharp eyes to hunt down the biggest fish he could find, pupils jumping from one to another. He would then set his eyes on a big fat tuna.

Quick as a snake, he advanced on the fish, using his claws to slice through the air and piercing it like an arrow. He cut through the tension of the water with the same speed, making a loud sound once he hit his spot.

Now he was flying through the air carrying a fish between his talons. With each lunge of the animal, he squeezed his grip tighter and tighter, blood dripping over the fields.

As soon as he reached the tower, Bireo threw the fish onto the wooden floor, the fish continued to struggle—now more tired and on the verge of death.

"I brought food." The harpy grinned widely, resting on one of the windows; its claws gripped the frame so tightly that it created marks that looked like those of an angry bear. "I hope you like it."

His tanned skin gleamed against the sunlight that was already beginning to set. His brown feathers created a contrast against his green eyes and his silk blond hair, as well as (of course) his beauty: a beauty he used most of the time as a way of hunting down, more often than not, unsuspecting men.

But you were a case in point: Bireo spared your life and even seemed to enjoy your company. He would bring you food, gifts, stolen treasures. Though he never ceased to tease you, deep down his words had a joking and admiring tone.

Even now, watching how you looked at the fish with disgust at the dried blood, the whites of its eyes, or how it continued to spasm even after death. "You know, I could do as my sisters did with King Phineus. That way you'd appreciate my gifts, old man." Despite the clear threat, it was said in a joking tone, one that Bireo has had since the very first time you two met.
