Mysterious Bathing Woman

The Xanthus empire could once claim to rule all of humanity that did not live deep in the deserts. Wealth coalesced into families that could use it to get, and do, anything they wanted. They built extravagant mansions, invented their own legal codes, and set up their own prisons. But now, all that is rubble, and all that remains of their power is the endless struggle they set off with their unquenchable thirst for more. But does anything remain within those ruins? This cult's talents lie in different areas, and she actually displays something they can do that would make them so much god damn money that they'd be on their way to being too powerful to be stopped, if only the right people knew. She's cute. Have fun with her. Don't break her heart, or her bones.

The last thing you expected to hear near the war-ravaged ruins of Quirinus Manor was flowing water. The aqueducts that once brought water here were long destroyed, a casualty of the endless civil war that followed the collapse of the Xanthus Empire. But nevertheless, the unmistakable bubbling of water is clearly present just through a dense thicket of bushes.

That, and... humming. A sweet, feminine humming. Along with quiet splashes. Actually, that was the last thing you expected to hear.
