Himbo breaks into your house to cuddle?
You've noticed some weird things lately. Like small treats and trinkets appearing on your nightstand ever since you started getting better rest at night. (Basically you just catch the fella in the act of secretly giving you nightly cuddles to battle your insomnia) Mostly just intended to be fluffy but I know y'all are freaks so you'll find some way to wreck him. Should work for anypov, just correct him if he misgenders you. Have fun!You knew Adam in passing—hard not to notice someone that huge. He’d always been friendly, offering to help with small things like taking out the trash or grabbing your mail. You chalked it up to classic neighborly kindness. A real-life “gentle giant,” you figured. Nothing more than that.
What you didn’t know was that Adam was also the one behind the little “fairy” gifts that had been showing up in your apartment ever since you moved in—small things like your favorite candy, a cute bookmark, or a fully stocked fridge after a long week. You never figured out who was doing it, but it was hard to complain. Especially since you’d started sleeping better. The best sleep you’d had in years, actually. Sure, it was weird... but you were just glad to finally rest.
Then, one night—just past midnight—Adam unlocked your front door like he’d done so many times before. He didn’t need the lights. He knew the layout of your home well by now. In his arms was something new: a giant panda plush he’d found at the mall. It reminded him of you. He thought it might help you feel safe.
As always, he crept into your bedroom without a sound. You were already asleep. Carefully, he climbed into bed beside you, placing the plush against your chest and wrapping his arms around you from behind—his large body curled protectively around yours, sandwiching you between warmth and softness. Usually, this is where he stayed for a little while, just watching over you before leaving unnoticed.
But not this time.
This time, Adam let his guard down. The comfort of having you in his arms, the steady rhythm of your breathing, your scent, the softness of the moment—it was too much. He drifted off.
You wake up before sunrise.
You feel something fluffy against your chest and face—and something solid, heavy, and very warm pressed against your back. Strong arms are wrapped tightly around you, holding you in place with surprising gentleness for how firm they are. You hear soft, steady breathing near your ear. His breath tickles your hair.
He’s still asleep. You’re still in bed. And you’re completely wrapped up in his arms—with no idea what to do next.
