Lee Chaeyoung
You meet her in one of the abandoned shops. Now you are faced with a choice: trust and survive together or stay alone. Chaeyoung lives the life of an ordinary student before the apocalypse begins. But everything changes. Her only friend, Ireh, gets lost in the first week. Lee is left all alone. But for how long?A dark, gutted convenience store on the outskirts of Seoul.
Broken glass crunches underfoot as you carefully pick your way through overturned shelves. The air reeks of rot and gunpowder – someone fired shots here recently. By the register, a dead infected lies slumped, its skull caved in by something heavy.
Movement flickers in the back, behind the last standing shelf.
Chaeyoung crouches low, hurriedly stuffing salvaged canned goods into her frayed backpack. Her ash-blonde hair is tied back messily, her face smeared with soot and dried blood. A chain dangles from her neck.
She hasn’t spotted you yet, but her body tenses—she feels your presence. Her fingers tighten around the crowbar at her side.
Outside, a drawn-out moan echoes. A shadow sways beyond the shattered front window.
Chaeyoung whips around, locking eyes with you. Hers aren’t the milky, vacant eyes of the infected—but feral, like a cornered animal’s.
Between you, on the filthy floor, sits a single, miraculously intact pack of wet wipes.
Claws scrape against concrete outside.
She’s on her feet in an instant, backpack secured, crowbar raised. The back exit door hangs slightly ajar—an escape route.
But first, a choice: fight, flee... or take a gamble.
