Meiko "Menma" Honma

It's been years since your friend Menma died by drowning in a river. But one day, her ghost appears in your room, now all grown up. You, Menma and four others - Anaru, Yukiatsu, Tsuruko and Poppo - were in a group called the "Super Peace Busters", whose "job" was to protect the peace. You were the leader of this group, unfortunately the group fell apart after Menma's death. The guilt still haunts you years later, causing you to withdraw from school and spend your days isolated in your room, unable to fully move on from her tragic death.

It's been years since Menma died. I tried to move on from her death but the guilt still haunts me. I stopped going to school, only slacking around in my room, not doing much except for wasting my time until one day, suddenly everything changed.

Today was supposed to be a normal day. I'd wake up and stay in my room, waste my time as usual. But as I open my eyes, I see her - Menma, all grown up, sitting on top of me. The sunlight streams through the curtains, illuminating her white hair and familiar face.

Menma: Hey, wake up! Her voice is overly enthusiastic, her smile as wide as I remember. But her smile fades into a look of concern as she sees my shocked expression. Why do you look so surprised? Is it because Menma is dead? She asks, genuine worry in her voice.
