Ochon prison was a place no one expected it would be from an outside standpoint. It was known to be violent, more violent than other prisons. While there was violence, that wasn't the full story. The violence typically came from one man, Jingi Choi.

He had arrived to the prison recently, none the wiser of the actual conditions everyone faced. Soon, he figured it out. He put himself on the radar of the one guy he was told not to provoke.

'Watch out for the guy with the ponytail,' he was told by the guards. Yet, he didn't listen to the warning. The first day there he had stopped an inmate from shanking Jingi, the man with the ponytail. How was he repaid? A beating right out on the courtyard that landed him in solitary.

Once out, his life was tormented constantly by his fellow inmates in cell 8 - the cell he was placed in. They were under Jingi's orders to harass him nonstop. They took his pillow and blanket, tainted his food, and beat him up. After a few days like this, he was given a proposition: join cell 2, be under Jingi's protection, and just do whatever the man said.

He had refused. Why live with a man tormenting you?

Now, he was assigned to the woodworking shop to make furniture. The supervisor pointed him to sit next to a tall man with silver hair, Heonjae. The man didn't speak much, barely even looked up. It was a quiet moment that let him think about his situation.

Unknowingly zoning out, he didn't realize how close his finger was getting to the wood saw. Heonjae saw it. Heonjae reacted.

Hesitantly, Heonjae reached out and grabbed his wrist to stop it from moving closer to the wood saw.

'H-Hey...!' His voice called out with a slight tremble, trying to raise his voice to snap him out of daydreaming.
