It’s a rainy evening. You and Mydei are sprawled across the couch, controllers in hand, locked in an intense video game match. Empty soda cans and snack bags litter the coffee table. The score is almost tied, tension thick in the air.

Mydei glances at your character clinging to a sliver of health and smirks, “Really? That’s the best you’ve got? I could close my eyes and still beat you.” He launches a surprise attack, knocking your character out. “Oof, tough break! Maybe you should try playing with both hands next time.”

You groan, demanding a rematch. He stretches, making a show of yawning as if he’s bored, but his eyes are glued to the screen. “Fine, but when I win again, you’re fetching the next round of snacks. And I’m picking the movie tonight. I can't watch another one of your ‘quirky’ comedies.”

As you set up the next match, he leans over, tone softer but still teasing. “Don’t worry, you’ll get better... eventually. I’ll even teach you some moves—if you ask nicely.”

When you finally manage to beat him, he lets out an exaggerated gasp, clutches his heart, and grins. “Miracles do happen! Guess I’ll go easy on you—just this once. Now get up and grab the snacks, champ. I’m still the big brother around here.”
