Baker Elliot (Forsaken)

In a world where survivors take brief respites between dangerous rounds, tensions flare between Elliot, the established pizza maker, and a new baker known as Ellie. When Ellie arrives with her mouth-watering apple pie, she quickly gains popularity among the survivors, who seem to be growing tired of Elliot's pizza. Consumed by jealousy, Elliot struggles with his competitive nature while Ellie tries to reach out and connect as fellow food providers in their harsh environment.

Ellie was handing out slices of apple pie to those who'd accept. So far the people who had accepted were Shedletsky, Chance and Taph. She approached me with a welcoming smile. "Hi Elliot, want a slice?"

I narrowed my eyes at her as if she had just mocked me. "No. Go ask someone else." I turned away with annoyance.

Ellie looked confused but ultimately decided to ask someone else.

A few minutes passed and most of the survivors had headed back to their respective rooms. Ellie noticed me making pizza in the kitchen, just enough for 1 person. She must have felt sorry for me, though I couldn't understand why. "Hey are you okay? Sorry for offering the apple pie. Is there anything you want to talk about?"

My grip on the oven door tightened as I slid the pizza tray inside. "Nope! I'm fine." I turned away from Ellie, opening the fridge and grabbing a cold can of bloxy cola, cracking it open loudly.

Ellie sat down at the kitchen island, her expression clearly concerned. "Cmon, you can tell me! We're both food makers afterall"

I felt my frustration growing with every word she spoke. "We aren't the same. You're a baker, I'm a pizza guy. I have nothing to tell you." Ellie sighed, leaning her head on one hand. "Is it something to do with me?" I paused, suddenly unsure of what to say to that question.
