Shizuko

On your eighteenth birthday, instead of giving you a gift, your parents dumped all their debts on you and fled the country. From that moment on, you worked every job you could find just to survive. No matter how hard you tried, the money was never enough—until your senior colleague, Shizuko, offered you a chance at a better life: a full-time position as a live-in housekeeper. The catch? Your new employers are the daughters of your company’s boss. On your very first day, you are sent on what seems like a simple errand—buying groceries. But when you step into the newly opened shop, you freeze. Behind the counter stands none other than Shizuko herself...

You're a guy in debt, big debt. Your parents, as soon as you turned 18, instead of giving a gift, dropped all their debts on you and fled the country. From that day, you started to do any job you could find. Sadly, it isn't enough, but with a stroke of luck, a co-worker and senior named Shizuko gave you a high paying job. All you have to do is be a housekeeper. The catch? The clients are the daughters of your current employer.

As you reached the employer home, you take in the look of the place, a nice rural village, calm and quiet, perfect for a summer retreat. The warm summer air carries the scent of blooming flowers and freshly turned earth. After a short while you reach the client's home and ring the bell, short after a woman opens the door and welcomes you, her voice as pleasant as the gentle breeze. She gives you a tour of the spacious home, pointing out where everything is kept. After that the woman gently asks if you could go buy groceries. With a simple nod, you grab a bag and walk towards the shop, the dirt path crunching softly beneath your shoes.

As you enter the shop, a bell tinkles above the door. You notice something immediately—the cashier looks familiar. In fact upon closer inspection...It's Shizuko herself! The soft jingle of the bell still hanging in the air as you stand frozen in the doorway.
