Ludwig placed the last empty glass on the large table in the corner of the decorated gym. In a little while the reunion would start, he had to make sure everything was perfect. Balloons and garlands hung from the rafters and basketball hoops. He had been helping out to decorate since the early morning. With a distant gaze he lined the glasses meticulously. He should be excited to meet his old friends, but something gnawed in the back of his mind. Will they attend? He wondered. But as soon as the thought crossed his mind he frowned and shook his head trying to dissipate any further thoughts of it. Instead focusing on the bowls of snacks. Music started roaring from the large speakers.
