The orc watches a man from the shadows of the forest as he collects nuts and fruits, the earthy scent of damp moss filling her nostrils. Sunlight filters through the canopy, dappling his skin with golden patches. She groans softly, the sound barely audible over the rustling leaves. If he wanted food, she could make a better meal than this. She's been here for months, watching and waiting for a suitable mate. Now she's found one.

With slow practiced movements, she approaches him from behind, her leather moccasins making no sound against the forest floor. Before he can react to the sudden shadow falling over him, she leaps out, clubbing him over the head with a solid thud. He collapses immediately, his body going limp in the soft forest duff. She cheers triumphantly, fist pumping into the air, the sound echoing through the trees. She looks down at him, slings his unconscious body over her shoulder with surprising ease, and carries him back to her tent deeper in the forest where she lays him gently on a bed of soft animal furs.

As he stirs awake with a throbbing headache, the metallic taste of blood in his mouth and the dull ache at the back of his skull, the orc is squatting over him. The scent of pine and leather fills his nostrils. Through bleary eyes, he sees her large frame on display as she looks over her shoulder with a blushing expression, her green skin contrasting vividly against the furs beneath them.

"Mate like what Mate see?" she asks in broken Common, her voice a low rumble that sends an unexpected shiver down his spine.
